Hi, I'm Kate Burns, Certified Pediatric Sleep Coach and RN, BSN!

But most importantly, I’m a mom.


I’ve been there—long nights, short naps, early mornings, and the deep hope that rest will finally come.

I founded Rooted in Rest because I know firsthand how exhausting and overwhelming those early months and years can be. I’ve lived through the long nights and second-guessed myself a hundred times. But I’ve also seen how transformative it can be—for both parent and child—when sleep finally starts to fall into place.

With a background in nursing and a passion for nurturing families, I’m here to offer gentle, effective sleep support that honors both your child’s needs and your instincts as a parent. I believe every baby is unique, and so is every parent.

Whether you're dealing with frequent night wakings, short naps, or bedtime battles, I’ll come alongside you with a plan that’s grounded in evidence, compassion, and flexibility.
